EPCOT

By Webmaster - Posted on 15 January 2009

EPCOT, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, is really two distinctly different parks in one.  EPCOT was one of the last parks dreamed up by Walt Disney, but construction was not started until after his death.  One half of the park, Future World, is devoted to science, technology, space travel, ecology, and the environment.  The other half of the park, World Showcase, is a journey around the world, allowing you to explore the culture, food, costumes, and shops of 11 different countries.

To fully appreciate all that EPCOT has to offer, we recommend allocating at least two days to the park.  Also, keep in mind that the World Showcase attractions open later in the day (usually at 11am).

Tip of the Day

Even as busy as the Disney parks can get, there are often quiet places for you and your child to unwind. Look off the beaten path for quiet corners where you can sit and regroup. For a list of good places click here.
