New images on the website
We have taken a few trips to the Walt Disney Resort recently, and have taken a LOT of pictures for the site. We have uploaded some and in the process of adding more. We have uploaded them in two different areas to make it easy for you to find them and use them. First, we have added pictures of the ride vehicles and signage to the information page for each attraction. Second, we have added a lot of additional images of the park, characters, attractions, and shows to the Image Gallery area of the site.
We encourage you to use these images to help you in your trip planning. Not only can you see what the rides are like, but you are also welcome to download and use the images in your social stories, picture schedules, or other planning tools for you child with autism. Our images are identified with the “wdwautism.com” verbiage – and you are free to use any of these images for non-commercial activities.
We also received permission from WDWNews (an affiliate of Walt Disney World) to use some of their images on the site, in order to provide information where we were unable to obtain pictures ourselves. However, these images are copyrighted and cannot be used outside of the site. We have labeled these pictures as well, and ask that you honor Disney’s copyright rules for usage.
Hopefully these images will help you and your family members plan a magical trip to the Walt Disney World parks and resorts!
